A dainty outfit to offset the massive welt on my knee from being weirdly uncoordinated resulting in two separate injuries on the same spot. This is totally a repeat outfit that never got photographed the first time, which made a lot more sense the first time being in a fancier setting. But this time, well, I wore it to the tattoo parlor to get my helix pierced.

Debuted this dress over the weekend with some shopping at Fashion Island, followed by Japanese BBQ with Jenny and Raneth, then ended the night at a midnight screening for James Franco. I was coincidently sent this dress after posting about the Dolce and Gabbana dress being on sale, see exhibit A. That kind of worked out for me. It came with a slip, but I opted towards a bathing suit of some sorts. Hope you all had a lovely day with your mums. My brother and I spent a relaxing afternoon shopping then out to a nice dinner. x

Obsessed with the earth bowls at Native Foods. I got the moroccan bowl along with my favorite watermelonade. Perfect for a warm day.

I'm about to pull the trigger on Tom Ford lipstick. The texture and color of this in True Coral is unmatched.

The very jacket that kept me warm those chilly, dessert nights at Coachella. It's been my go-to jacket since which I got sized up, to like a medium. I love how the back drapes even though it was probably an aesthetic decision, you would never imagine how much warmer you are when there is a shield of supple leather preventing back drafts.

Another day at Disneyland wearing my favorite one-piece outfit with some Disney paraphernalia. It's a lucky hybrid between overalls and this jumpsuit I posted last year. Extremely comfortable namely because it's reminiscent of a child's long johns, but without indecent repercussions. I'm looking forward to a day warm enough for just a bikini underneath. It makes sense to me right now, but we'll see if I call my own bluff.

Saturday was an insanely nice day - it only seemed logical to eat Subway in an open field with a crisp, white dress to boot. Mile Square Park was the destination of choice - there in lies jealous squirrels and hungry ducks. Who doesn't love free animal interaction? This is not a Subway sponsored post. Thennn I cut my hair pre-Coachella so it doesn't look like this anymore. Anyway playful dressing inspired by one of my favorite Chloe collections to get Thai and boba, yadeeyah. JBrand sent me a few pastel jeans which I love and instantly made any darker-colored pairs seem a little lackluster. These make lazy dressing so much more thoughtful, and the length contrived some crazy idea to chop off the hem of all my pants to the ankles. It’s so much more flattering than fabric bundled at the ankle. But knowing how stupid I can be, I’ve already promised myself I wouldn’t come near clothes with scissors in hand ever again.

Wore this on the drive to Palm Desert and the chilly forecast deferred me from changing into something more festival-y. Surprisingly, the extreme slit wasn't a problem except that it welcomed a lot of wind, which rendered the (otherwise warm) length useless. My only method of not freezing to death was to awkwardly hold the two edges together whilst walking around. That, and hurdling myself into a crowd of screaming fans. Mmm body heat.

I just spent an hour combing the internet and social media sites alike for these pictures. A huge, huge thank you to all the girls that made my weekend so incredibly memorable: Liz, Olivia, Natalie and Dylana (and for letting me steal these pictures). Also, a huge thank you to Threadsence for getting us all together! Sadly, cameras weren't allowed on the grounds and it wasn't until the third day where I grew the courage to sneak it in. The thought of getting rejected and walking back was so... exhausting. But we managed to blast our Instagram / Twitter accounts until our phones died before any headliners came on. I realize this case is getting a lot of air time... so unintentional. But wanted to check in before I drive off to the desert. It'll be my first time going to Coachella (thanks to Threadsence!!) - overcrowded areas kind of freak me out, but I wouldn't have my first experience any other way. We rented out a three bedroom home in Palm Desert and they're feeding me the entire time. And they also coordinated everything for me. Which also would have given me anxiety. Well I was convinced and I'll see you guys there with a camera in hand! Look cute because I'm style spotting for their blog xo

This weekend I checked out the OC Mart Mix with Daron but was quickly bored with the stores then opted to enjoy the nice weather outside. I guess I was being difficult getting my pictures taken here (clearly more interested in taking pictures of him taking pictures of me), which doesn’t help do this dress justice. It's some kind of gorgeous, metallic, meshy-cotton layered over a fake white shirt. Which I dig, because I'm thoughtless when it comes to thoughtful layering. But I shouldn't own pretty dresses like this because I'm prone to spilling on myself - and that I did. Hope the oil stains come out! And since I’m sure I’ll be asked, I got my iPhone case here. It brings out the giddy five-year old in me, as well as anyone within an eye-glance vicinity.

I normally don't write posts like these, but I recently bought myself an iPad and inevitably wanted a cute case to boot. I seriously scoured the Internet for something cute and in my budget (spending more than 10% of the cost of what you're protecting seems a little absurd to me) for a week. No guide, Pinterest board, or anything form of blogging fit what I envisioned. The case had to have a cover on it and I didn't like sleeves too much. I finally found one I liked and felt the need to publish my research so that staring at the computer for hours was worth straining my eyes beyond my personal needs. Enjoy and happy Monday!

I wore this overall-dress hybrid the previous Halloween as a scarecrow, but that didn't satisfy my curiosity of whether or not overalls can come back. Don't know if I can commit to a full denim overall... maybe a leather one a la Stolen Girlfriend Club. I'll stick to this for now when I feel like posing in front of a janky motel.

Also, hung out with Socialyte last weekend to document some of my favorite places in Orange County. It was narrowed down to Costa Mesa because we didn't have time to drive from city to city. Check it out!

Showing off some midriff via my favorite silhouette: calf-hemmed, full skirt with a questionable top. This one in particular has cascading ribbons that makes the top as confusing as it is awesome, so I tied them together with some sense of accomplishment.

Easy quarter this spring that grants me ample leisure time than I know what to do with. I mean, I Instantly felt bored when I got out of my only class yesterday at 11AM with no plans the rest of the day except to finish reading Hunger Games and loiter the house simultaneously annoying my dad by revisiting the refrigerator in 30 minute increments - a daytime luxury I otherwise never had time for.

I love discovering new photographers to follow. Wai Lin Tse is a photographer based in Barcelona who (if you find her work familiar) has worked in the likes of Urban Outfitters. There's something so emotional and vulnerable about her style that makes it instantly distinguishable. So weird to think that your style carries beyond the things you wear to even how you view the world - something about her work seems so natural and unforced. Love her work more on her website, Flickr, and Tumblr.

Thank you everyone for coming out yesterday despite the downpour! Everyone who stopped by my booth to say hi was incredibly sweet and so, so well dressed! I'm sure we'll be doing this again, but this time taking advantage of the great weather to come. I also raised $300 for charity - so thank you again (I also think we collected $200+ at the door which will also go to a good cause). Just glad I can start the week enjoying time off school and catching up on internet business in this gloomy weather.

Wore this a few weeks back feeling pre-springy. But pretty obsessed with this mexican vintage find from the Irvine antique market. Have you guys been? It's better than any Southern California flea in my opinion. I'm pretty sure the majority of the vendors here are the same one at Rose Bowl, but since the booths are cheaper here, so is everything else! It's this weekend too ;)

A super quick post to start the week! Plowing through finals right now so blogging will be a little slow. Ultimately wanted to muse on two things: 1. my new Dalmatian printed boots, wow. The most comfy shoes that add 7 vertical inches 2. read below!

Really excited for this weekend to hang out with some great people! Julie is hosting a blogger market and there are some pretty rad bloggers that are coming!! Can't wait to dive into people's closet, heh. The admission is $1 but that will go straight to charity!
I will be donating half my proceeds to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society selling vintage clothes, spring cleaning, and baked goods! There are so many great organizations to support, but I had to narrow it down to this one in honor of my grandfather who passed away last year from leukemia as well as my younger cousin who battled and won. Really hope you guys can make it out as it's for a good cause! See you there and look forward to meeting many of you!

Found these pictures from a while back on my SD card, funny how memories can float around like that. Having a personal style blog can sometimes be seemingly vapid, and I’m sure I mentioned this before, but it’s crazy what you remember going back on entries - like a movie you're unaware of (with a beginning, middle, and end). This day in particular, I was helping style a photo shoot feeling drab all day until Raneth and her boyfriend took me out for some amazing shabu shabu. Realized a few things by the end of the day: being a third wheel isn't too bad, dark hair will look better on me, I have no shame prancing around in clothes that aren't mine, and never take the people in your life for granted.

A shoot I did last November for an LA clothing brand, Lush, is finally out! I'm pretty pleased with the results but couldn't expect any less after a fun day of hanging out with the impossibly beautiful Cambria and Julie, coordinating color-blocks, and eating through the endless supply of kettle chips. I had totally forgotten how light my hair was! I semi-miss it, but right now I am glad to be at my natural roots.

Cafe Stella in Silverlake. Great french food but terrible service. So sad because I loved it and would've came back. Got eggs benedict over hash-browns with avocado/evoo/salt+pepper on the side. Breakfast for champs.

I wear a lot of boots and decided to get myself a pair of barely there sandals. Like these Charlotte Olympia 'Isla', I can't them out of my mind but they're way too pricey for me :( get yours so I can vicariously live through you.

I love Design Sponge's feature, Flower A-Z. So inspiring to learn different flowers then be subsequently inspired to arrange them in your living room. Learned that my new favorite flower is the Garden Rose.
